Hello SIFE-ers

Does Spring Fever have you in the mood for warm weather and fun activities? US TOO! SIFE is ready for more action, team meetings, and ways to enjoy the weather! We have events planned up to Spring Break and for when you return.

This Week of SIFE is March 5th and March 15th to March 18th and the events are as follows:

Friday March 5th

• 8:30 am- SW MN Private Industry Council in CH 105- Start your SIFE day bright at early at this meeting which will be discussing summer opportunities and potential Fall activities. For more information contact Kim Boom at kimberly.boom@smsu.edu
• 12:30 pm- Bring Your Own Lunch in CH 105- Relax and enjoy good food, great people, and  good conversation at this weekly lunch special. Bring your lunch to the Core Office and talk about all things SIFE and Life.

Monday March 15th

• 6:30 pm- Pump ‘Em Up: Phase II in CH 105- Start your SIFE week out right with the Environmental Sustainability team as they continue the Pump ‘Em Up project. Tuesday March 16th

• 11:45- Leadership Team Meeting in CH 105- Come join this intense SIFE meeting where leaders, coordinators, and SIFE students discuss upcoming events and all aspects of SIFE. All members are welcome to join in on this hour of SIFE. For more information contact Luke at lucas.bryce@yahoo.com

WednesdayMarch 17th

• 12:00- Resume Workshop in BA 314- Impress future employers, build credibility, and advance your personal marketing skills at this Resume Building Workshop. Take advantage of this incredible SIFE opportunity. For more information contact Kim at Kimberly.boom@smsu.edu
• 12:30- Global Exchange Game in CH 105 - The cards have been sold, money has been made, and now it is time to take our knowledge and share it with those around us. Join the Free Markets Category as they prepare to teach the curriculum to the youth. For more information contact Casey at Casey.Johnson@smsu.edu
• 3:30- Sustainability in CH 105- Help SIFE continue to grow and learn as we help new and existing members participate in all that SIFE has to offer. Thursday March 18th

• 12:00- What to Wear in BA  240- Do you know how to match your shirts and pants? Can you impress those around you by the clothes you wear? Did you know that your appearance can affect your future? Find all of this out, and more at this What to Wear Workshop. This SIFE opportunity will help you decide what to wear to some of your most important life events. • 4:30- Unity and Diversity in CH 105- Come help this Business Ethics project as they brainstorm new ideas and continue to make an impact on the world. For more information contact Shannon at shannon.reker@smsu.edu
• 6:00- Team Meeting in SC 249- Join in on this hour of SIFE as we discuss up coming events, share ideas, and enjoy laughs all throughout. For more information contact Tessa at tessa.weber@smsu.edu
• 9:00- Team Bowling Event at the Bowling Alley- If you are the strike master, or even a gutter bowler, this team event is for you. Meet at the bowling alley for a fun (and cheap) way to bond with your SIFE team. For more information contact Nicole at nicole.pagel@smsu.edu

Presentation Team Meetings- Our team is getting ready for the biggests SIFE night of the year, Regionals. Our team is preparing their speech and putting together a video of all of our projects. Attend these meetings to give support to the members and offer advice to the presenters.

• Sunday March 14^th: 6:00pm to 9:00 pm
• At this meeting, six volunteers are needed to help judge the presenters and all runners and tech crew must attend to review your duty at Regionals!
• Monday March 15^th: 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm
• Tuesday March 16^th: 4:30pm to 6:00 pm
• Wednesday March 17^th: 9:00pm to 10:00 pm
• Thursday March 18^th: 11:45 am to 1:30 pm
• Thursday March 18^th: At the Team Meeting
