Business Advisory Board Banquet
This last monday, SMSU SIFE hosted a banquet for BAB, our Business Advisory Board on the SMSU campus. It was a complete success with a great turnout of BAB as well as SIFE members. It started with an introduction from John Gochenouer as well as a speech by SMSU’s president, David Danahar.
Attendance at the meeting was great!
The banquet was catered by the Student Hospitality Oraganization. They provided our members with a delicious spaghetti dinner in meatball and vegetarian variations as well as a salad and drinks. After the members had a chance to network, the evening continued with presentations from the directors of each of the categories explaining the projects they had going on this year.
BAB members were encouraged to ask questions or make any comments they felt would be helpful to our SIFE team. We received some great feedback and will use this to our advantage as we execute each project.

The banquet was a great experience for both the BAB and the SIFE members. Those involved with BAB were able to learn more about what SIFE stood for and how we develop and complete our projects.
SIFE students seemed greatly encouraged by the support of our Business Advisory Board and have a better understanding of how to utilize this group.
We appreciate the time and effort given by both BAB and SIFE members and we look forward to enhancing this relationship as the year progresses!

The BAB banquet was an excellent experience! I believe that with the knowledge and information gained from this banquet, we can make our projects even more successful! I’m excited to work with the BAB members in the future!
I agree, Derek! Although I do not quite remember what I said as I was still a bit sick, it was still a fantastic experience!
Truly, I look forward to working with our BAB much more in the future!
