Chicago Conference
The Chicago conference was a blast!
The two sections, one for new members and one for veteran members, were very beneficial to the team. Some of the things I learned were:
- there are many helpful tools on sife.org
- how to raise team sustainability
- ways to have an active business advisory board (BAB)
- that our SMSU SIFE team has a presents
We were the SIFE team that had the most members present at the conference and we were the SIFE team that traveled the longest! I thought that was very impressive.
The Chicago trip was a great way to get to know all of the new members and make some lasting friendships. I can’t wait until Regionals and Nationals to do it again!

I learned a lot at the conference as well Casey! In the SIFE 101 section, we learned about what it takes for projects to be successful, what the judges look for in projects, and just a lot about being an active member in SIFE! It was a great experience, and I was so glad that I was able to go on the trip!
