SMSU SIFE’s Cards Across Cultures raises $720 for Jamaican School!

This past spring, Catherine Hall Primary School in Jamaica participated inCatherine Hall Primary School our Free Market project, Cards Across Cultures. The students drew pictures of what “peace and unity” means to them.  After receiving their concepts, we mass produced these cards.

As a team, we have been actively selling these cards to friends, family, professors and businesses. As a result of our efforts, we raised $720 for this Jamaican school.

Our Sam Walton Fellow, John Gochenour, and his family delivered this check  to the Catherine Hall Primary School this past Friday.

Theses cards are still available!  They can be found  in our store, The Village, HyVee in Marshall and The Solar Drive-In in Springfield, MN! You can also order a box of cards by emailing Casey Johnson at free.market.economics@smsusife.com.
