The Grand Opening of The Village!
On September 3rd, The Village had its grand opening! Needless to say, this was a grand success!
During the weeks coming up to the grand opening, we ran radio ads, newspaper advertising and handed out fliers around town. This has caused a huge boost in customers both during grand opening and afterward! In fact, the grand opening was so successful, that SMSU is running a feature about the event!
During the grand opening we had many SIFE members working at the store. Several worked the front desk and helped customers find what they were looking for. Other members were outside dressed in Clarkfield Apparel catching the attention of the people driving by.
The Schwan Food Company also supported the SMSU SIFE team by having a Schwan’s Truckload Sale that helped raise money for the team.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by and to the SIFE members who participated in the grand opening! We most certainly hope that you all stop in at the store again as we continually get new apparel! If you missed the grand opening, be sure to stop in and check out the store on 309 East College Drive directly across from Freedom gas station!

That was an awesome day! I was completely blown away by all the effort and help going into that. Great job everyone.
