This Week In SIFE: February 26th to March 4th

The excitement is growing, the anticipation could not get any higher, and the butterflies in our stomach are starting to appear, YES, it is competition time once again. As Regionals gets closer and closer we need every member to take action and support our team. From here until the end of competition, which will be after the World Cup of course, we will need help with projects, presentations, and involvement from everyone. Can you handle it?… GOOD, here is what This Week In SIFE looks like:

Friday, February 26^th

12:30- Bring Your Own Lunch in CH 105- Bring your lunch to the Core Office for lunch filled with good food, good people and good discussion. This gathering is a great way to meet people and relax.

Saturday, February 27^th

12:45- Moving Furniture- At the Village- New furniture was purchased for our SIFE team and House. Come with your muscles and help our team move into our new home. Meet at the Village and then everyone will go pick up the furniture together.

Sunday, February 28^th

2:00- Customer Service Meeting in the Library- Meet with Emiley Kight and her gang as they develop a Customer Service Workshop for a local school. Be an audience to their team as they perfect their routine as they get ready to present round two of their project to the Redwood School.

Monday, March 1^st

6:30- Pump ‘Em Up in CH 105- Our Pump ‘Em Project created such an “air” of attention, that it is now going to become a legacy project. Pump ‘Em Up is now going to focus on local businesses. Join Stacy and help her brainstorm about how to “pump businesses out of this world!”

11:50- Leadership Team Meeting in CH 105- These weekly meetings of Directors, Coordinators, and SIFE Students is becoming more intense each week! Join in on this exciting time of discussion, debate, and teamwork!

Wednesday, March 3^rd

12:30- Global Exchange Game in CH 105- The final touches on the Free Market’s Global Exchange Game are being created. Come to this meeting to bring new ideas and support to this activity.

3:30- Sustainability in CH 105- SIFE continues to grow and develop into the largest student organization on the SMSU campus. Join in on all the advancements and team recruitment at these weekly meetings.

Thursday, March 4^th

4:30- University and Diversity in CH 105- The Business Ethics crew is working on a new project to show students diversity on campus and between individuals. Come to this meeting to help our team create a new video and curriculum.

6:00- Team Meeting in SC 249- As our anticipation grows for competition, these meetings become more important… and FUN! Join in on everything SIFE has to offer, and get a weekly review of what is to come, at these meetings.

7:00- Regionals Prep Meeting in SC 249- This meeting will be a great way to end your SIFE week. Here, all members going to Regionals will meet to discuss departure, fees, arrivals, and everything in-between! Fasten your seatbelts it’s going to be a fun ride!
