Sustainability

Essentially the foundation of the team, sustainability is concerned with the way SMSU SIFE runs, rather than creating awesome new projects or improving and executing proven legacy projects.

With an organization of this magnitude, keeping it running smoothly, efficiently and in the meantime improving it is a task that is keeps the team going. Some of the responsibilities that fall under this category are the following:

• Recruiting
• Meetings
• Team building events
• Fund raising
• Communicate with the business advisory board
• Serving on different boards throughout the community
• Promoting the SIFE team
• Establishing and maintaining the online presence

Accordingly, some of the goals for this year will be the following:

• Increase membership
• Enlarge the membership of the business advisory board
• Enhance involvement with the business advisory board
• Highly improve the team’s online presence
• Transition from a printed newsletter to using online media outlets
• More team building events
• For the second semester, hold membership development events
